PVC Sheets, Foam PVC & Rods

Perspex Online supplies a versatile range of PVC plastic sheets and rods for commercial, industrial, and fabrication applications. PVC is valued for its durability, chemical resistance, and ease of machining, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Our PVC range includes:

PVC Sheets

Rigid PVC sheets suitable for fabrication, machining, and general-purpose applications where strength and corrosion resistance are required.

Foam PVC

Lightweight foam PVC sheets with a smooth surface finish, commonly used for signage, displays, and internal fit-outs. Foam PVC is easy to cut, print on, and fabricate, making it a popular choice for visual applications.

PVC Rods

Solid PVC rods suited to turning, machining, and fabrication, commonly used for industrial components, spacers, and chemical-resistant parts.

PVC materials are commonly used for:

  • Signage and display panels

  • Industrial and chemical-resistant components

  • Machined parts and rods

  • Fabricated enclosures and panels

  • General fabrication and trade applications

PVC sheets, foam PVC, and rods can be supplied in standard sizes or cut and machined in-house using our CNC router and CNC lathe services. If you require custom sizing, profiling, or turned components, our team can assist with a practical solution.

Common questions

PVC FAQs

What is PVC sheet used for?
Rigid PVC is used for chemical tanks, wall cladding, machine components, and signage. PVC foam board is the lightweight version used for printing, signs, displays, and shopfitting.
What is the difference between rigid PVC and PVC foam board?
Rigid PVC is solid and structural with excellent chemical resistance. Foam board has a foamed core, making it very light, easy to cut, and ideal for signage and displays rather than structural work.
Is PVC chemically resistant?
Yes, rigid PVC resists most acids, alkalis, and salts, which is why it is standard for chemical tanks, fume ducting, and plating shop components.
Can you print on PVC foam board?
Yes, its smooth matte surface takes UV digital printing exceptionally well, making it the sign industry's standard board for flat panels.
Can PVC be fabricated and welded?
Yes, PVC thermoforms, machines, and plastic-welds readily. We fabricate PVC tanks, trays, and enclosures to drawing.
