Protecting Your Ute Tray with a Custom Floor Liner
A ute tray copes with tools, building materials, machinery and loose loads every day, and factory paint or bare alloy doesn't stand up to that for long. A custom-cut plastic floor liner sits over the factory tray, taking the impact, scratches and corrosion risk instead of the tray itself.
We cut HDPE and UHMWPE floor panels to match your tray's exact footprint, including wheel arch cut-outs and tie-down point access, so the liner drops straight in without trimming on site.
HDPE vs UHMWPE for Tray Floors
HDPE is the standard floor liner material, tough, impact-resistant and cost-effective, suited to trade and general-use utes carrying tools, materials and everyday loads.
UHMWPE is worth the upgrade for utes in heavy-duty or abrasive service (mining, agriculture or continuous loading of rough materials) where its extra abrasion resistance and lower friction extend the liner's working life.
Both materials are fully waterproof, won't rot or corrode, and clean up easily with a hose, unlike carpet-lined or bare metal trays.
Fitment and Cut-Outs for Tie-Downs
We template floor liners to your specific ute make, model and tray configuration, cutting around wheel arches, tie-down rails and any factory fittings so tie-down points remain accessible once the liner is in place.
If your tray has a factory tub liner already fitted, we can cut a floor panel to sit over the top, or a standalone liner if you're working with a bare tray.
Everyday Durability and Maintenance
Day to day, the liner takes the scratching, dropping and scraping that would otherwise mark up the tray's paint or alloy surface, and protects against the corrosion that starts wherever paint gets chipped through to bare metal.
HDPE and UHMWPE liners need no real maintenance beyond an occasional hose-out. They don't need painting, sealing or re-coating over their working life.
Getting Your Floor Liner Cut to Size
Provide your ute's make and model, or measure the tray directly (length, width, wheel arch position and any features to clear), and we'll cut a floor liner to fit.
We can supply the liner as a single panel or split sections for easier handling and fitment, depending on tray size.
