Teflon® (PTFE) Sheets & Rods Teflon® (PTFE) is a high-performance fluoropolymer used where nothing else survives. It offers unmatched chemical resistance, extreme temperature stability, and the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid plastic. If parts are sticking, wearing, or chemically failing, PTFE is usually the fix.

PTFE Sheets

PTFE sheet is used for liners, seals, and sliding surfaces where heat, chemicals, or friction would destroy conventional plastics. It does not bond or weld easily, but it performs where others fail. Common uses

PTFE Rods

PTFE rod is suited to machined parts requiring chemical resistance and low friction rather than high mechanical strength. Common uses

Important Considerations

PTFE is soft compared to engineering plastics like acetal or nylon and will deform under load (cold flow). It machines cleanly but requires correct tolerances and support in service.
When heat, chemicals, or friction are the problem, PTFE sheets and rods are the no-compromise solution.
